    Bones in the Diet

A dog with a bone – it sounds so normal and natural. Even in cartoons and comics most dogs have a favourite bone! But in real life, most bones pose a risk to your pet's health.

Not all bones are bad; some can genuinely help with cleaning the teeth and make a pleasant chew toy!

Owners often make the mistake of relying on the bones being cooked, which is wrong! Cooked bones break into sharp pieces.

Raw bones are, in theory, the better option.

This article was prompted by the story of Ari the cat. Ari made a full recovery!

Finally, what is our advice? Well, quite simply, it is not worth the risk, time and energy to try to feed bones.
